Head of Media Connections, Emer Fitzgerald Selected for Cannes Media Lions Jury

The digital strategist behind Heineken’s most successful launch ever, Orchard Thieves Cider and the Cannes-winning Irish Defence Forces Female Recruitment Campaign, Emer is an award-winning strategic & creative thinker, who continues to pioneer & evolve the connections discipline globally.

Driven by her love for creativity, Emer is also a regular industry speaker & panelist. She co-created & delivered a creativity workshop at Cannes in 2017 – You Are Dumber Than You Think. Emer also co-authored ‘The Future is Human’, a ROTHCO report which was published in 2016.

This year’s Media Lions Jury President is Karen Blackett OBE, WPP UK Country Manager & MediaCom Chairwoman UK & Ireland, WPP, UK.  The juries will convene in Cannes, France where the winning work will be awarded each evening from 17-21 June.
