‘AI Will Kill Creative. AI Will Save Creative’

We’re thrilled to be on stage for a second time at this year’s Cannes Lions. Rothco ECD Alan Kelly and Eco Moliterno, CCO Latin America Accenture Interactive will join forces to debate whether ‘AI Will Kill Creative. AI Will Save Creative’.

The advent of artificial intelligence has many creative people questioning the future of their profession: Will what they have spent years mastering be effortlessly taken over by machines in the near future? On the one hand, you can argue that art is in the author’s intention and today’s AI just can’t compete with that. On the other, why couldn’t an algorithm learn the rules and intuition needed for creativity? Adobe Sensei and Google’s AI already have. Two experts on the subject, both with a great passion for AI but with radically opposing views on how it will affect creativity, will battle it out on stage to win the case that AI will either kill or save the creative profession.

This session will take place on the Interactive Stage at 12:30 on Wednesday 20th June.
