The Ireland senior team has never beaten the All Blacks. But 3 other Irish teams have. So we thought that by bringing some of the players and fans from these great victories to Chicago and placing them in the crowd at the next fixture – we could bring the luck needed for Ireland to finally end its losing streak against the All Blacks.

So Aer Lingus searched for, and found, players from the Munster 1978 team, the Ireland Women 2014 team, and the Ireland U20s team. They achieved the unthinkable by beating their Kiwi counterparts, and we asked them to share how home advantage helped spur them on to victory. Aer Lingus then flew them, and fans that witnessed those games, to Chicago. The hope is these players and fans would bring luck to the Ireland team for the game at Soldier Field on November 5th.
